Overview

Emtron is the emerging talent in engine control technology. Based in Sydney, Australia, they have already made big inroads in rallying and Time Attack at the top levels.

 

SL4

Perfect for four cylinder cars or bikes, this powerful little unit features onboard 16mb data logger and a host of advanced motorsport functions.

 

 

SL8

The SL8 has most of the features of much more expensive ECU's in a compact, affordable package.The SL8 features eight high impedance injector drivers, eight logic level coil drivers and the same advanced motorsport features of it's bigger brothers.

 

 

Features

1) Auxiliary Channels with high side option

SL4/8     - High Side Drivers on Auxiliary Channels  5 - 8

 

2) Auxiliary Channels configured as Half bridge (i.e Push - Pull drivers).

SL4/8      - Auxiliary Channels  9, 10

 

3) Digital Inputs frequency arming thresholds

SL4/8     -  DI 5-8 have a fixed frequency arming thresholds. Arming at 1.6V and disarming is 1.4V.

NOTE: This ONLY applies to frequency based signals. Switched inputs still retain ON/OFF thresholds.

 

4) Oscilloscope Function Inputs (Pending Emtune function release)

SL4/8       - x2 Channels:  Crank and Cam Sensors.
